The European Environement Agency (EEA) holds an annual photography competition to engage the public on environmental issues. This year the competition revolves around cities as cultural and political hubs of environmental innovation and sustainability. As urbanization accelerates, Europe's cities face a myriad of environmental and social challenges, such as overcrowding and congestion, pollution and inequality.
The 'My City' photography competition encourages individuals to share images of their urban habitats. Submissions should portray a European city but can either have a negative or positive narrative. The deadline for submission is August 15th.
